As you might already know about the
guidelines for regulating wood packaging
material in international trade
(ISPM15), this standard requires that
wooden packaging must either heat
treated (at the minimum core temperature
of 56 degree Celsius for a minimum of 30
minutes) or fumigated with Methyl
Bromide at the minimum requirement.
ISPM15 is worldwide standard and as of
now 134 countries have agree to comply
with. Currently some countries have
officially started practicing the
standard, for example, Australia, New
